Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.
Shipment Processing Time
All orders are normally processed, packed and dispatched on the same day if the order is received before 2pm. Any orders received after 2pm will be processed the next day except on Friday. Orders are not processed or shipped on Weekends, Bank Holidays, Easter or Christmas. Christmas orders will not be dispatched between the 22nd December and January 2nd
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipping charges are for mainland UK only and will be based on the following values:
Orders between £0.01 to £15.00 - £3.99
Orders between £16.00 to £29.00 - £5.99
Orders between £30.00 to £49.99 - £7.99
Orders over £50 - FREE SHIPPING*
Next day delivery option can be chosen at checkout.
* UK Mainland only and any Oversized items will incur a £10 shipping surcharge. These items will be shown at checkout.

FROZEN BAIT: Please note frozen bait will only be sent out by next day delivery. All frozen bait is wrapped in bubble wrap before shipping. Please ensure that there is somebody home to sign for delivery. Frozen baits ordered on a Friday will not be dispatched until Monday to avoid the bait thawing out. We accept no responsibility for any bait once it has been dispatched and returns are not accepted. By placing an order and paying for it you accept these Terms & Conditions.
We rely upon the services of the Royal Mail and other third party couriers, and whilst we endeavour to ‘keep to our word’ there are unfortunately a few rare occasions when circumstances beyond our control mean that the delivery deadline is not met. We accept no responsibility for such delays in delivery and will make no monetary recompense for late delivery. If the parcel looks damaged please note this when signing the couriers form or electronic device and point it out to the driver. Any missing items or incorrect items delivered must be notified to The Tackle Shop Company (UK) Ltd within 24 hours of signing for the parcel(s).
Special Order (SPO) items are items that are not stocked, large items or custom items. When an order is placed for an SPO item then we will call or email you with an expected delivery date.
We endeavour to keep a wide range of items in stock for immediate delivery. However, due to demand it may be possible for an item to be temporarily out of stock. In this case we would place the item on back order and contact you immediately (by e-mail or telephone) to give you an estimated delivery date.
If you wish to return or exchange any goods purchased please contact The Tackle Shop Company (UK) Ltd using the contact page, in writing or by telephone, within 14 days of purchase. The Tackle Shop Company (UK) Ltd will send you a returns form via email or post and goods will only be accepted with a completed returns form.
Refunds will be issued by the same method the purchase was made within 14 days of receipt of the goods by The Tackle Shop Company (UK) Ltd.
We can not accept any goods for exchange or refund if they have been worn, soiled or damaged in any way.
If returning item(s) by post please use a signed for service, we will not be held responsible for the loss of any returns sent by any other method.
The buyer will be responsible for covering the cost of returning item(s). If item(s) is faulty we will credit return postage once item(s) have been confirmed to be faulty. We will credit for second class postage only.
If required we can arrange collection of item(s) at the buyers cost, which will need to be paid before collection is arranged.
If you suspect you have a faulty product supplied by us please contact us in the first instance by phone, email or post. Some problems may be resolved or avoided by an explanation or advice from one of our knowledgeable staff.
If you need to return the goods to us, please do so by sending the goods back to us by a secure delivery method. We recommend you use Royal Mail recorded or special delivery or a courier and that all returns are suitably packaged as we cannot be held responsible for damaged or non-arrival of goods.
Please enclose a completed warranty returns form, which will be sent to you via email or post. Please include your name, address, nature of the fault and the action you wish us to take. Where possible please include a copy of the original receipt or invoice. This will allow us to gain all the relevant information on which to process the return as quickly as possible.
On receipt of the goods we will inspect the products. In some instances we reserve the right to return the item to the manufacturer for further inspection or testing. If the problem is covered by the warranty we will arrange a suitable replacement, alternative or refund.
- Please ensure that any warranty returns are clean and dry. All products that are wet and/or dirty will be returned at your expense.
- We must be informed of any omissions or damaged deliveries with 48 hours of receipt.
- In some instances, warranty claims will be handled directly by the manufacturer. This will normally be stated on a warranty card or the invoice/receipt supplied with the product.
Most products are supplied with a manufacturers 12 month warranty against defects in workmanship or materials (unless otherwise stated). This warranty applies only to the original purchaser. Wear and tear, accidental or intentional damage or inappropriate use are not covered by any warranty (unless unconditional). Your statutory rights are not affected.
